Riding on a real steam train!

The fireman stokes up the fire, the locomotive engine is whistling and the conductors close every door manually!

On the Goes-Borsele Steam Train, you will imagine yourself on a train journey at the start of the last century. Watch the landscape glide past sat on wooden benches in 3rd class or in the plush chairs of 1st and 2nd class. Visit the renovated restaurant at the terminus, take a ride on the mini train and admire the view on the mighty Western Scheldt estuary.

In 2020, our trains will run according to an adapted schedule due to Covid-19, please refer to our timetable page.

We will no longer sell individual tickets this year, but you can book a private compartment for yourself and your family or housemates. A safe way to travel, in other words!

Advance booking is required, and the number of compartments per trip is very limited. Book your private compartment on our Rates & Tickets page.
