Food & Drink

A drink, an ice cream or a complete meal: a day out naturally also includes delicious food and drinks! You will find the following catering establishments at our stations:

Goes: Uitspanning De Goederenloods

At our museum site in Goes, you will find Uitspanning De Goederenloods. During the opening hours of the site you are welcome for a cup of coffee and cake, a delicious sandwich, pancakes or a complete lunch. You’ll be right at the centre of the action in the railway yard. With any luck, you might even see a steam train pass!

Outside normal opening hours, you can book De Goederenloods for a party, a reception or a meeting. Please contact Jonathan Kint, the operator. +31 (0) 113-323015 or +31 (0) 6-12415033. www.degoederenloods.nl, info@degoederenloods.nl (not for travel information).

Kwadendamme: Berkenhof Tropical Zoo

The Tropical Zoo, next to the station of Kwadendamme, also offers ample catering opportunities. You are welcome to drop by during your visit to the Zoo, but this restaurant also offers a range of possibilities outside normal opening hours. For more information: Berkenhof Tropical Zoo, +31 (0) 113-649729 or www.tropicalzoo.nl

Hoedekenskerke: De Buffer

Hoedekenskerke is the favourite destination for most train passengers. Next to the station, in the Pluimweide Park, you will find our De Buffer building. Visit our spacious coffee corner for a cup of coffee or a soft drink, or treat yourself to a sausage roll or some delicious fries! You will not get bored here, because there are also model railways and traditional costumes to admire.

‘De Buffer’ welcomes groups by appointment for coffee and cake, a hearty lunch buffet or hot/cold buffet outside of the regular operating days.
